As an International Banking & Leasing Specialist, your day will be filled with opportunities to work with venders, internal bank partners, and directly with clients. Work and discussions will include client servicing, problem solving, tracking of wire transfers, and researching sales opportunities. This will include work on and discussions regarding foreign exchange, international letters of credit, foreign currency, foreign check processing, and leasing accounts. The role will also involve working with Lease documents to order, prepare, and monitor for approval, send for booking, manage exceptions, obtain insurance on collateral, prepare reports, and service existing lease clients. Suggesting products or services to improve a customer’s satisfaction or enhance a customer relationship will be encouraged; however this will not be a sales role and will not have any sales goals.
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Customer service contact for all International Banking & Leasing needs / requests.
- Learn and utilize knowledge obtained from the International Banking & Leasing Manager to work proactively with clients and to review past transactions to identify opportunities and service needs
- Will work on and monitor all related reporting and processing of International Banking and Leasing transactions
- Ensure all documents received from and sent to clients are accurate and imaged appropriately
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal and external, either verbally or in writing
- Oversee workflow, transaction completion, & ensure proper reporting
- Handle investigations of missing or incomplete transactions, compliance issues, & GL outages
- Audit vendor systems, users, & manage the addition / deletion / modification of users
- Identify sales opportunities and relay to Manager
- Suggest new processes & products to increase time and cost efficiency whenever possible
- Assist in new product development, including research and operational development
- Assist with creating and tracking sales contests
