Position General Responsibilities:
This position will assist the Ag and Commercial Lending Officers. It is accountable for loan processing and for relieving the officers of administrative detail, including tickler file and other varied secretarial and clerical duties as may be designated.
Education, Experience and Certification Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
- 2-year college level course of study in Business Administration and/or financial institution or related field experience or equivalent training and/or experience.
- Excellent customer skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently and to prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred:
- Previous Loan Processing experience.
Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties and Competencies
Loan Processing:
- Preparation and processing of credit documents.
- Modification of notes and extensions.
- Commitment letters/letters of credit.
- Disburse loans.
- UCC-l, EFS, Brand Lien filing and tracking. Assignment of Government Payments, BLM and DNMRC Lien Notices, Assignment of Indemnity, Assignment of Life Insurance, Contract for Deed, Security Instruments, Deposit Accounts, Vehicle Lien Filing, Etc.
- Communicate with Title Companies, Insurance Companies, Farm Service Agencies, BLM offices, Secretary of State, Montana Dept. of Livestock, etc. as needed for loan information.
- Manage denial and withdrawn credit applications.
Credit Support:
- Pulling credit reports, Lien Searches, Business Entity and Registered Principal searches.
- Filing /Correspondence/Photocopying.
- Build/Maintain files.
- Process paid and renewed notes.
- Receive and make loan advance requests.
- Receive and make payments/corrections.
- Monitor lien filings.
- Preparation and storage of closed & purged files.
- Maintain Tickler File.
- Adverse actions letters.
- Correspondence related to documentation of loan files.
- Maintain Ag database for tracking of inspections, UCC expirations, and loan advances.
- Request tax returns, financial statements and life insurance information on annual basis, or as needed.
