Position General Responsibilities:
The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for coordinating and managing the company’s social media program, and assisting with ongoing digital media marketing and general marketing activities of Stockman Financial Corp. Personal skills necessary to be successful in the position include: strong and open communication; well organized and able to manage time to keep up with multiple projects; assist with ongoing programs in social media, website content creation and maintenance, SEO and digital advertising; work well within the marketing department as well as a variety of departments throughout the company; have strong skills utilizing a variety of new technologies and web platforms for the ongoing organization and innovation of the department; be willing to learn new software and research trends, and have an optimistic outlook on new ideas and platforms for Stockman.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or liberal arts with very strong writing skills and experience in social media management and content creation.
- Technology-savvy with an ability to learn, master, and train others in a variety of software programs that are introduced to the department.
- Well organized with an ability to manage and focus on multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to work independently and with groups.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable speaking publicly for small and large groups from time-to-time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Work experience in social media management and content creation, digital media advertising and website CMS programs.
- Previous marketing experience, particularly in banking.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud programs.
- Knowledge of digital media marketing and vendor management.
Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties and Competencies
1. Operational Functions:
- Plan content for, post to and monitor Stockman’s social media accounts; work with Marketing Officers to publish engaging and timely content.
- Assist with all areas of digital marketing, including company website, online listings, SEO, digital media, advertising and general marketing programs.
- Work with a variety of projects, software and new technologies.
- Maintain communication with key contacts in branches and the marketing department related to marketing efforts.
- Communicate with third-party vendors (consultants, software providers, printers, specialty companies) to coordinate projects.
- Maintain digital research (gather and analyze data, report findings, provide recommendations for action, analyze campaign results).
- Participate with special events and facilitate specific plans in offices to maximize exposure for our company.
- Other special projects as assigned.
