What are the responsibilities and job description for the MORTGAGE SERVICING SPECIALIST position at Stockman Bank of Montana?
Position Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for assisting with daily operational needs in the Mortgage Servicing Department (MSD). This position is responsible for extensive correspondence with customers and personnel at other locations via phone, mail, fax, and e-mail. Duties and projects will vary as this position is developed. Some examples include but are not limited to: customer mailings/handouts, processing daily mail, assisting co-workers with processing of insurance dec pages, payoffs, reviewing/paying escrows, etc.
This is an entry-level position with the expectation that sufficient knowledge will be acquired to support the day-to-day Mortgage Servicing functions. Initially, this position will work closely with MSD management to develop the skills necessary to assist the MSD team with many functions of the department.

- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher).
- Ability to research and analyze various different types of data information.
- High School diploma or equivalency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous mortgage servicing or professional office experience.
- Strong computer knowledge and program skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other Bank related software.
