What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Beverage Manager position at Stockton Inn?
Restaurant & Beverage Manager
Join a Destination Hospitality Team - Lead with Purpose
At the Stockton Inn, we’re building more than a restaurant—we’re creating a culinary landmark. Nestled in the heart of a historic town, our vision is to make Stockton, NJ, a nationally recognized food and beverage destination—much like Yountville is to Napa.
This is a rare opportunity to join a leadership team of industry veterans who have shaped some of the country’s best restaurants. Here, you don’t have to choose between a fulfilling career and a high quality of life.
We’re seeking a Restaurant and Beverage Manager who brings heart, high standards, and a deep love of hospitality. You’ll work closely with our chefs, managers, and bar team to ensure seamless service across multiple venues, including Finch (our refined dining room), the Dog and Deer Tavern, and our seasonal spaces.
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our wine program, including curation, inventory, and retail sales, helping to build a best-in-class experience that reflects the culinary ambition of our restaurants. You will also lead our wine education initiatives—training and inspiring staff across departments to deliver knowledgeable and thoughtful service.
As a Restaurant & Beverage Manager, your responsibilities will include supporting daily floor operations, coaching our front-of-house team, and helping maintain a high level of service across all dining venues. Your presence will be instrumental in creating a culture of hospitality that is both refined and warm, ensuring our guests feel welcomed, cared for, and eager to return.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Includes hands-on leadership during service and collaborative planning time with ownership and department leads
If you’re ready to lead with care, integrity, and excellence—and be part of something truly special—we’d love to hear from you.
