Job Summary:
The Sommelier is responsible for serving an exceptional wine list, providing expert recommendations, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Educate guests and staff about wine selections and pairings.
- Manage inventory and proper storage of wine.
- Engage with guests to create memorable dining experiences through thoughtful wine recommendations.
- Assist with staff training on wine knowledge and service techniques.
Qualifications:
- Certification from CMS, WSET, or equivalent preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Old World and New World wines.
- At least 2 years of experience in a sommelier or wine service role.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage guests.
- Passion for hospitality and creating an elevated dining experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.03 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
