AREA SUPERVISOR
Salary plus vehicle expenses, health benefits, PTO, paid holidays.
This position requires responsibility, leadership, common sense, advance planning/organizational skills, ability to create and apply programs, systems, and policies, and the ability to delegate orders to field cleaning crews.
- Customer visits if complaint calls for it or if operations manager or office manager requests it or other situations require visits.
- Oversee production in some portion of the company’s total accounts.
- Review complaints with operations manager.
- Receive and respond to report inspections, complaints, FYI's, and work orders from managers. Based upon established schedules & new daily developments, i.e.: complaints.
- Conduct daily meeting with operations manager, special services and other supervisors.
- Conduct daily road visits to problem areas and perform inspections of accounts. Routine walk thru and inspections with client.
- Call into office from each location and report issues as necessary.
- Follow up and customer service calls to customers.
- Manage time, appointments, and commitments of self and other supervisors with time management system.
- Follow up with crews same day if deficiencies are found.
- Manage and continually improve quality of work. Implement quality control systems as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- At least 2 years of experience in cleaning supervisory role.
- Janitorial/Maintenance knowledge/experience preferred.
- Must be able to work flexible hours (2nd Shift)
- Must be able to clean and help crew as needed.
- Experience with high volume commercial janitorial services for chain retail cleaning is a definite plus!
- Experience in proper floor care techniques.
- Reliable transportation to travel to various account locations at any given time.
- Great customer service skills, troubleshooting skills and team work ethic.
- Ability to effectively interpret and apply policies and procedures.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple duties.
- Good organizational skills.

- Must be able to make decisions and correct issues with crew on the spot.
