Part-Time Marketing Assistant (Graphic Design Focus)
Location: Litchfield, CT
Schedule: 5-20 hours/week | Flexible Hours
Compensation: $18/hr (based on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

Stockyard is a fast-growing contractor and landscape supply company based in Litchfield, CT. From mulch and stone to rental equipment and tools, we’re a one-stop shop for contractors and homeowners alike. We’re looking to bring on a creative and motivated Part-Time Marketing Assistant to help expand our digital presence, create graphics, and support our sales and marketing manager.

Ideal Candidate:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or related field
- Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
- Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, and email marketing platforms
- Organized, creative, self-starting, and detail-oriented
- Photography or video editing skills are a bonus!
- Comfortable working on-site in Litchfield, CT
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and email.
- Conduct market research and analyze data to inform marketing strategies and improve campaign performance.
- Create engaging content for social media platforms, websites, and email newsletters.
- Support the management of the company’s WordPress website by updating content and optimizing for SEO.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Help coordinate advertising sales efforts and manage relationships with vendors.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives through analytics tools.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for content marketing and e-commerce strategies.
- Assist in creating content for social media, email newsletters, and our website
- Design graphics for Facebook, Instagram, flyers, signage, etc.
- Organize and update photo libraries and creative assets
- Help maintain our HubSpot marketing tools and CRM (training provided)
- Support event marketing efforts (Open House, vendor demos, etc.)
- Brainstorm and collaborate on campaign ideas
Skills
- Proficiency in analytics tools to track campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for creating compelling visual content.
- Experience or knowledge in print advertising, digital marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Strong copywriting skills with an ability to craft clear and persuasive messages.
- Understanding of WordPress for website management and updates.
- Knowledge of e-commerce principles and advertising sales strategies is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative mindset.
