Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing detailed information about menu items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS or similar systems.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper sanitation standards.
- Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, adhering to culinary guidelines.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Utilize math skills for accurate billing and payment processing.
- Promote daily specials and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are key traits for success in this role.
