General Production: LayUp Technician
Stoddard International LLC, is a fast-growing Composite Aerospace Manufacturer where we specialize in building and machining aircraft interiors for several notable airlines. Job Summary:
Build components for aircraft using hand layup techniques, using prepreg materials. Hand-molding different types of materials into solid molds. Perform techniques for building intricate parts. Operate large manufacturing oven. Bag parts in the mold, creating vacuum bags, check & fix leaks, put parts in oven, and debag once cured. Complete paperwork and meet traceability requirements.
Minimum Qualifications include:
- Must be 18 years
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow policy and procedure
- Team player; willing to work with others
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to meet production deadlines
- Ability to communicate respectfully with supervisors and fellow employees
- Ability to follow work instructions and complete manufacturing plans
- Ability to read or be taught to read blueprints
- Use of measuring devices: tape measure or scales
- Move parts and or carts up to 20 lbs. consistently

Wage: $17.50 -$20.00; DOE
