Who we are:
Stoke is a full-service digital marketing and creative agency. We specialize in design and content marketing for clients such as Adobe Experience, Document, and Creative Cloud, Dell, VMware, J&J and several other clients in high-tech and B2B industries. Our design team has won awards from AIGA and had work published in national design annuals (Print, HOW). Were a tight-knit team of designers, animators, writers, editorial strategists, and marketing gurus who love to help brands make customer connections through stories, data, and digital experiences. Our work primarily consists of animated video, live-action video, UI/UX design, web layout, demand social kits, e-books, infographics and more.
Why were hiring:
Stoke is looking to grow our production team, and add a contracted blog designer to our fleet. You will work closely with our design team along with other creatives, strategists, and project members to execute a series of blog layouts for Adobe. Layouts will include text layout, formatting, some imagery placement or creation, and occasional marquee image creation.
You will be responsible for creating blog layouts that align with the Adobe brand, match their guidelines regarding text usage, spacing, photography, artwork, and utilize Stokes process for reviews and stakeholder feedback.
Layouts are in Adobe Xd, while artwork can be made in Xd, Ai, or Ps.
Who are we looking for?
This role is catered towards those who enjoy production work and dont mind repetition between their projects.
Important: Role will be focused primarily on blog layouts and occasional demand projects such as email layouts, social media, or display ads.
Requirements:

Fluent in 2D Adobe products (Ai, Ps, Id), especially Adobe Xd

Have 2-5 years experience in digital design

Youve worked in a studio, production, or agency (or similar) setting

Understand core principles behind typography, layout, and making informed design decisions

Have an eye for good design and composition

Must be organized, proactive and responsible with time management

Cadence to handle quick turnaround times on assignments, and able to juggle multiple overlapping projects with our production team

Strong verbal and written communication skills
