2. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Screen Print Production Manager provides leadership, oversight, and hands-on management of the entire screen printing production process from pre-press through finishing. This position is responsible for directing, planning, assigning, and monitoring daily operations while ensuring company policies and quality standards are maintained. The role requires implementing efficient production systems, supervising personnel, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with sales to meet customer deadlines. This position is critical for ensuring high-quality printed products are delivered on time while maximizing productivity and managing resources effectively.

- Directs, plans, and monitors screen print production departments' daily operations and activities to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met
- Studies and composes production schedules and estimates labor hours required to complete orders
- Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
- Inspects and approves press setups, continually monitoring press operations including color reproduction, registration, and print quality
- Analyzes and resolves production issues, assists team in solving work problems, and recommends measures to improve production methods

6. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education / Minimum Years of Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts, Print Technology, Business Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a screen printing production environment
- Minimum 1 year of prior management experience
Job Knowledge / Work Experience:
- Complete understanding of the entire screen printing process including pre-press/screen development, ink/color theory, on-press techniques, quality control, and apparel finishing
- Experience with production scheduling and workflow optimization
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop production staff
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards specific to screen printing
- Experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Understanding of inventory management and supply chain principles
- Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental compliance in a production setting
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with production management software and scheduling systems

7. PHYSICAL / ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. May require overtime, weekend, or evening hours to meet production deadlines or address urgent issues.
Physical / Mental Requirements:
Position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the production facility, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to inspect detailed print work, distinguish between colors, and make precise adjustments to equipment. The position requires mental focus to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, problem-solve under pressure, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to complete production team job responsibilities if employees are absent from work, which includes hefty lifting and working on your feet for extended hours.
Supervision Requirements:
This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the screen print production department. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, safety protocols, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Dress Code:
Business casual appropriate for a production environment. Safety equipment must be worn when required.
Travel Percentage:
Minimal travel. May occasionally attend industry trade shows or vendor demonstrations.
Personal Equipment:
The company will provide all necessary equipment and safety gear.
Work Environment Hazards:
