- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their shopping experience.
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and securely.
- Perform retail math calculations to ensure correct pricing and discounts are applied.
- Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining product displays to promote sales.
- Provide product demonstrations and information to customers, enhancing their understanding of products.
- Supervise front-end operations during peak hours, ensuring all associates are performing their duties effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, adhering to company standards for presentation.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Utilize phone etiquette when answering calls related to customer inquiries or store operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in transactions.
- Basic math skills for accurate pricing and cash management.
- Ability to engage with customers effectively, showcasing excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
- Experience with supervising or training staff is beneficial.
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and knowledgeably.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
