Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with a welcoming atmosphere.
- Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
- Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions by understanding their preferences and needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring all retail math is handled efficiently.
- Maintain product displays and ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Upsell products when appropriate to enhance the customer experience and maximize sales.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance on product knowledge and customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Experience with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is an asset.
