We are currently recruiting for a Commercial and Business Development Manager to support our US team. In partnership with the global commercial team, this role is instrumental to executing our strategy with a focus on our existing commercial excellence offering and potential new businesses.
Stolthaven Terminals, a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist storage provider for bulk liquids : chemicals, clean petroleum gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals. We are continuously seeking how we can add value for our customers.
What will you be doing
The role responsible for initiating, developing and guiding the growth potential across the US region. He or She will be responsible for supporting and leading the commercial team in US. Business development activities vary from developing new terminals, M&A, improving / expanding existing terminals, and developing new business concepts. This is done by using your network, knowledge, insights, and skills.
Key responsibilities
- Act as key account manager for global accounts based in the US region with role to identify prospective customers, and develop and manage existing customer accounts.
- Identify, select and target strategic new markets, opportunities and customers so as to develop and maintain a project pipeline to deliver on Stolthaven's growth targets within the US region; Projects to include growth on owned sites in partnership with local terminal management teams, developing new greenfield sites, new business opportunities (not only storage) and acquisitions.
- Work with Stolthaven Corporate Development team and other functions in contract negotiations with new and existing customers; may serve as principal customer contact ('lead-to-contract'), develop relationship with key stakeholders including business partners and relevant government officials (Greenfield Projects).
- Focus on development of new initiatives aimed at improving Stolthaven’s marketing, revenue growth, and customer centricity.
