Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cakes, pies, and pastries for sale by cutting, portioning, and packaging items in customer-friendly sizes.
- Maintain well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing bakery shelves, keeping displays fresh and inviting throughout the day.
- Monitor inventory levels of cakes, pies, and packaging supplies, coordinating with bakers to meet daily stocking needs.
- Arrange and present cakes, pies, and pastries in a way that attracts customers, following any established display guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including all cake-cutting and packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with sanitation and food safety standards.
- Assist with customer questions about bakery products as needed, providing information on ingredients, portion sizes, and availability.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a bakery, food prep, or retail environment preferred.
