Are you a skilled accounting professional ready to lead and make an impact in the construction industry?

Were looking for a dynamic Controller to manage the financial operations for multiple clients and help drive strategic financial success. In this role, you will lead accounting and bookkeeping activities, including overseeing accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, reconciliation, and problem-solving. Youll be responsible for preparing and defending financial statements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and developing internal controls to safeguard company assets.

As a Controller , you'll play a key role in supporting clients with onboarding, addressing financial issues, and providing proactive solutions. Youll leverage your experience in project / WIP accounting and financial management to create job schedules, perform variance analysis, and deliver actionable insights to help businesses grow. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team while meeting deadlines will be critical to your success.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Oversee accounting and bookkeeping for multiple clients, ensuring timely and accurate financials.
• Lead staff on Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Ledger, and Reconciliation projects.
• Prepare and defend monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage project / WIP accounting and create End of Period Job Schedules.
• Ensure compliance with construction industry financial regulations and standards.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to prevent fraud or mismanagement.
• Manage payroll tax filings and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Address client inquiries, provide ongoing support, and resolve financial issues.
• Assist with client onboarding and catch-up accounting / bookkeeping tasks.
