Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team.
This is a full-time position based in New York City, with a hybrid schedule requiring four days per week in the Manhattan office.

Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly revenue entries
- Help plan and manage the monthly and quarterly closing processes
- Help prepare trial balance and financial reports for month-end close, updated supporting schedules, and variance analysis
- Prepare intercompany related journal entries, analyze, and reconcile across all entities and maintain schedules of intercompany balances and transactions
- Help prepare schedules and analysis for annual financial and uniform guidance audits
- Other tasks as assigned by the Assistant Controller
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline
- 5 years of professional accounting experience
- 4 years of professional non-profit accounting experience
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience communicating and explaining complex financial information
- Experience manipulating, organizing, and presenting large amounts of data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced skills in Excel required
- Experience with non-profit enterprise software, such as SAGE Intacct, Expensify, Workday, Financial Edge, or similar required
Special Considerations:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $82,568 - $100,000 annually.

Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
