Stone Belt's Manufacturing Services program gives individuals an opportunity to work and develop professional skills while sub-contracting to businesses. Our employees are trained in machine operation, materials and small parts handling, sub-assembly, packaging, warehousing, quality control, and industrial hygiene.
We are seeking a Direct Support Specialist to join our manufacturing program to work alongside clients in production efforts, as well as to assist in the transportation of produced goods between various local facilities.
The Direct Support Specialist – Manufacturing provides direct instruction and support to clients in participating in manufacturing and retaining employment. This position is directly supervised by the Manufacturing Services Coordinator.
Duties include:
- Drives product between facilities utilizing a Stone Belt moving truck
- Supervises the production of workstations while monitoring and maintaining quality control and timeliness of completion.
- Provides vocational training to clients.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area and to organize work stations that provide a maximum level of efficiency in production.
- Works well both independently and in a team setting.
