Stone Belt, a local non-profit organization in Bloomington, IN, is seeking to add a full-time IT Help Desk Support Technician to our team! As a Help Desk Technician at Stone Belt, you’ll gain valuable IT experience in a wide array of different areas. In this role, you can expect to do any of the following:
· Reply and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, or in person
· Troubleshoot network, workstation, printer, and communication issues
· Basic network troubleshooting and support
· Configuring, installing, and replacing agency devices such as computers, printers, software, etc…
· Maintain documentation of all support tickets and their resolutions
· Create, maintain, and assign permissions to users in active directory and appropriate software systems
· Order and maintain mobile devices
Our ideal candidate for this position must have at least a high school diploma and be enrolled (or have completed) in a degree program for an Information Technology related discipline at an accredited technical school or college. As this position will require occasional travel to other agency locations, you will also need a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with insurance. We’re looking for an excellent communicator who can think on their feet and troubleshoot multiple issues at once. Possessing at least a rudimentary knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Networking is a plus!
