THE JOB
Stone Brewing is searching for an efficient, reliable and passionate EventsCrew Member to join our Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens team. This person will be responsible for providing friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our fans. The Events Crew Member’s primary objective is to deliver amazing service to each one of our fans while exemplifying Stone’s Core Values.
THE BASICS
- Welcoming fans, making each one feel comfortable and letting them know you’re there to personally assist them.
- Handling banquet set-up and tear down to include proper handling of table linens, place settings and glassware, table and chairs and food buffet; assisting with bar set up and tear down as needed.
- Setting banquet rooms according to function sheet, diagrams and written/verbal instructions.
- Delivering food and beverages from service kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.
- Pouring and refilling wine, coffee, water and other beverages served before and during banquet service, maintaining knowledge of Stone’s Food and Beer Philosophy.
- Monitoring fans’ experience and ensuring fans are satisfied with the food and service; responding promptly and courteously to any requests; advising supervisor of any fan complaints.
- Loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Maintaining all company and industry safety and sanitization practices and standards.
- Willing to be an exemplary role model, beer diplomat and representative of Stone Brewing.
Required Experience:
WHAT YOU NEED
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of related experience and/or training in a service oriented business. At least 1 year of related experience as an Event Server or similar.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Ctuit, Aloha, Caterease, and/or Open Table desirable.
- Must have a current San Diego County Food Handlers card, issued by the city of San Diego. Must possess a current RABS (Responsible Alcohol Beverage Service) training certificate. Certified Beer Server preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation as this role requires occasional travel to events and other Stone locations.
