Shipping/Receiving Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verifies completeness of shipment against work order.
- Assembles, packs, protects, labels, and weighs shipments.
- Loads and unloads trucks using material handling equipment and/or forklift.
- Receive shipments of supplies and materials, and inspects for damages and completeness of order verifying against bills of landing, purchase orders and/or work order.
- Inspects shipments for hazardous material labels and SDS sheets.
- Attaches identification data onto goods received.
- Unloads and unpacks incoming shipments.
- Packages, skids, and crates materials to be delivered to plant and warehouse accordingly to delivery schedule.
- Verifies correct locations and quantities of materials in inventory and answers requests for availability. Does physical count periodically
- Occasional local travel may be required.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Performs other related duties as required by Management.
(1) Shipper/Receiver – Starting Pay: $15.00;
Should be available for the first shift (7AM – 3:30PM OR 8AM – 4:30PM).
