The Cleaning Technician performs detailed cleaning tasks for unit turnovers, common areas, and other designated spaces. This role collaborates with the maintenance department, Property Manager(s), and other team members to ensure properties are ready for new residents and adhere to Stone & Browning’s cleanliness and presentation standards. Travel would be required as we have offices in Berlin & Burlington.
Hours: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm
Education/Experience Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred but optional.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills for resident and team interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
- Available after-hours/evenings as needed
- Must travel between properties and perform hands-on tasks.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Background check required

Inventory Management
- Supply Stocking: Monitor cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to the Cleaning Manager. Ensure all cleaning materials are stocked and accessible for daily tasks.
- Equipment Care: Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition, promptly reporting malfunctions or repair needs.
Quality Control
- Inspection Preparation: Ensure units meet the company’s cleaning standards before the Property Manager or Field Agent inspects them.
- Feedback Implementation: Address any deficiencies noted during inspections, making necessary improvements to meet expectations.
