The Unit Turn Technician is an integral part of the Stone & Browning team. They are expected to maintain and enhance the value of the real estate assets, for the benefit of the residents and the community.
Objective:
The primary objective of the Unit Turn Technician is to provide support to the Project Manager on capital improvements, large-scare turnovers, and unit specific renovations. This role will help ensure the successful completion of high-value projects that align with the owner expectations and help enhance property value.
Scope: The Unit Turn Technician performs all of the tasks of a maintenance technician with added responsibilities, including more advanced large-scale property turnovers and special projects that may arise. This role involves coordinating with the Project Manager and the Property Manager to ensure that complex maintenance projects are completed efficiently, within budget, and align with Stone & Browning standards.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in building or construction maintenance, with advanced knowledge of diagnosing and repairing property systems.
- Expertise in advanced maintenance areas, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with tenants and team members professionally.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members and leadership.
Job Requirements:
- M-F 8:30 am-4:30 pm
- Available after-hours/evenings as needed for rotating on-call schedule
- In field position
- Must travel between properties and perform hands-on tasks.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Pay: $24-$27 an hour depending on experience
