Stone Canyon is looking for an experienced leader to join our team as a Front of House Manager and Server. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, hospitality experience, 2 years management experience, and enjoy working in a team-oriented setting. As a FOH Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, and leadership necessary to achieve excellence in guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and sales.
This is a full-time position. Candidates must be available Tuesday-Sunday and must be able to work day -or- evening shifts. The restaurant closes at 9pm, so there are no late nights.
Tips for server shifts. Increased hourly rate for FOH Manager shifts.
Requirements:
- Management experience: 2 years
- Server experience: 2 years
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 21 years old
Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow all restaurant policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure these policies are followed by all employees and that tasks are completed on a timely basis
- Oversee the daily operations of the front of house and fill in where needed to ensure exceptional service standards and efficient operations
- Perform server duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to, learning all menu and bar items, taking orders, serving food and drinks, performing daily and weekly cleaning tasks, and encouraging sales
- Achieve restaurant objectives in sales, service, quality, cleanliness, and appearance of facility
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to Stone Canyon’s serving standards
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring guests feel welcome and are always given responsive and courteous service
- Ability to operate a POS system and adhere to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
- Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner
- Provide leadership and continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development
- Coordinate with the kitchen and back of house staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Maintain inventory of supplies and place orders as needed
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Create and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer experience
- Fully understand and comply with federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to the law, health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests
