What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st Shift and 3rd shift Resident Caregiver/Med passer position at Stone Crest Assisted Living?
Provides and manage resident care; administer medications and treatments while ensuring proper procedures are being followed. Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect, and receive quality care according to individualized care plans. Ensure the safety of residents.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required, Associates Degree, preferred.
At least six months recent experience as a caregiver; at least six months recent experience in medication administration; knowledge of care related to an elderly population
Must be able to operate blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes, diabetic equipment, needles, syringes and any other specialized medical equipment as needed to provide resident care.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
General Requirements:
Position reports to the Administrator
Inside/Outside: 100% Inside
Must be able to participate in one-person and two-person transfers/lifts and change resident position to accommodate resident mobility needs.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
