Stone Distributing Co. is a leading independent distributor of specialty beverages in the country, with a diverse portfolio of craft beer, hard kombucha, and more.
We are seeking an experienced Driver to join our team, responsible for delivering beer and merchandise across Southern California. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify, arrange, and secure loads for designated deliveries.
- Drive a box truck to deliver products to customers, including grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and liquor stores.
- Collect payments from customers and record transactions accurately.
- Pick up and record empty kegs or unsold merchandise as instructed by the Transportation Supervisor.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Follow all road regulations and drive safely and courteously as a representative of Stone Distributing.
Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of previous driving experience with trucks up to 24 feet in length.
- Class C license with a clean MVR for the last 5 years.
- Valid CA Driver's license.
- Strong work ethic, professional appearance, and safety consciousness.
- Ability to handle up to 170lb kegs.
- Basic math skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
