Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Packaging: Use appropriate materials and equipment to package baked goods in a way that maintains freshness and prevents damage.
2. Boxing: Efficiently box products, ensuring they are organized, labeled, and ready for distribution.
3. Traying: Arrange baked goods on trays for further processes or direct distribution.
4. Quality Control: Check the integrity of baked goods before packaging, ensuring they meet Wheat Montana's quality standards.
5. Labeling: Attach accurate and legible labels to products, detailing product information, expiration dates, and any other relevant details.
6. Inventory Management: Keep track of packaging materials and notify the concerned department of any shortages or needs.
7. Machinery Operation: Safely operate any machinery or equipment associated with packaging, boxing, or traying.
8. Team Coordination: Work in sync with other departments, ensuring a smooth transition of products through the bakery's workflow.
9. Safety Standards: Follow all safety protocols related to product handling and machinery operation.
10. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring that all tools and materials are kept in their proper places.
11. Continuous Improvement: Offer insights into improving packaging techniques, materials, or processes.
12. Other Duties: Execute any other tasks or responsibilities as directed by the supervisor or management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in a packaging or product handling role, specifically in a food production setting preferred

• Ability to quickly and efficiently handle products without causing damage.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Knowledge of safety protocols related to machinery and food handling.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions related to packaging and boxing.
