The Finance and Accounting team is seeking a Senior Accountant to have an active role in the financial close process. This position will work with all levels of the organization to report, monitor and manage key financial and non-financial performance indicators. The successful candidate will be a detail oriented, self-directed individual with a willingness to take initiative.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the month-end close process
- Maintain and reconcile selected balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP
- Monthly P&L analysis including trend and variance analysis
- Assist in the development of monthly production reports and analysis
- Develop and generate ad-hoc reports to monitor financial performance
- Assist with external audits and other year-end reporting requirements
- Assist in the implementation of controls, policies and procedures to support the growth and expansion of the company
- Drive process improvement and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Advance knowledge in the accounting department by serving as a subject matter expert to staff and peers regarding GAAP standards and other accounting best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Working Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm
Wage : $80,000 - $100,000 annually
