**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording account data
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Reconcile bank statements
- Conduct month-end and year-end closures
- Process payroll
- Assist with budget preparation
- Support audits by providing necessary information and preparing documentation
**Qualifications:**
- 5 Years Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper/Accountant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software systems
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
- Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation and double-entry bookkeeping
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Experience with payroll processing
- Financial report writing skills
- Understanding of tax procedures
