Job Description:
This role involves managing a book of personal lines clients, handling policy inquiries, endorsements, renewals, and coverage changes. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal lines insurance, strong customer service skills, and a passion for helping clients protect what matters most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a book of personal lines clients, handling policy inquiries, endorsements, renewals, and coverage changes.
- Guide clients through the claims process, ensuring a smooth experience and acting as a liaison with carriers.
- Conduct proactive policy reviews to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Identify opportunities to offer additional coverage options (home, auto, umbrella) to existing clients.
- Work closely with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, process applications, and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system and ensure compliance with insurance regulations.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance (Independent Agency experience preferred).
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License (preferred or willing to obtain).
- Proficiency in agency management software (AMS360, Applied Epic, HawkSoft, or similar).
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the Midwest personal insurance market and carrier products is a plus.
