What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Estimator position at Stone Hill Excavation?
Stone Hill Excavation has been serving the Sioux Falls and surrounding area for years. We are a family owned, well-established and safety oriented company. We are looking for an highly qualified, experienced individual to add to our current team. The Project Estimator will need to have basic understanding of all civil, water, and sewer construction, and dirt take offs with emphasis on excavation.
This individual will meet with potential clients to determine the scope of a project and prepare estimates that include self-performed and subcontracted work. In collaboration with the field superintendent, this individual will coordinate and supervise the construction project to deliver a quality project under budget costs and estimated hours.
We offer an EXCELLENT wage and benefit package that puts you and your family's needs first. The Project Estimator is a salaried position roughly 100-125k per year, Salary based on experience.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who can proactively problem solve with others. He/she must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience of developing civil construction estimates and proposals or equivalent combination of education and experience.
