What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Diesel Mechanic position at Stone Industries?
Are you looking for year-round, stable and interesting work? We are a family run business who is seeking an hourly assistant diesel technician needed for 40 hour work week, light to heavy duty vehicles, familiarity with air and hydraulic brakes, skilled mechanical, electrical and assembly repairs. Assistant mechanic will help lead mechanic in all daily tasks (ex. diesel truck maintenance / repair, tire maintenance, shop maintenance, parts runs and road side assistance). Assistant with their own tools is preferred. Minimum of two years of auto shop experience is required. Full time position, Monday through Friday. Benefits include 401(k) with match, employee discounts, health insurance and paid time off. Reviews are performed twice a year.
