Duties
- Operate forklifts, to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other heavy equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Assist in materials handling by organizing and storing products in designated areas.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks associated with heavy equipment operation.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.
Skills
- Proficient in operating forklifts, or other heavy equipment with a strong focus on safety.
- Experience with heavy lifting and materials handling in a distribution center setting.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management systems.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
