Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality standards of our products and processes. This position involves conducting quality inspections, assisting in performing audits, and ensuring compliance with industry food regulations . The Quality Assurance Specialist will collaborate with others to uphold the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision testing tools such as gluten testing and coordinate measuring machines to assess product tolerances.
- Perform quality audits to evaluate adherence to established quality management systems and procedures.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Support training initiatives for staff on quality assurance practices and CGMP standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and tools, or willingness to learn.
- HACCP knowledge is extremely useful, but in the job training is available.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction across departments.
- Experience in conducting quality audits is a plus; familiarity with food manufacturing processes is advantageous.
