Position Overview:
As a Sales Consultant, you’ll be directly responsible for providing a world-class experience for our customers. Your goal is to assist customers in selecting and purchasing the perfect vehicle to fit their needs, while achieving sales goals set by the dealership.
What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
- Understand and meet dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction goals
- Follow the dealership’s structured sales process to meet customer needs
- Demonstrate vehicles, conduct test drives, and explain vehicle features
- Assist customers with the financing and purchase process
- Maintain current knowledge of new vehicles, features, and accessories
- Ensure customer satisfaction post-sale to build loyalty and repeat business
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet dealership quotas and objectives
- Uphold federal, state, and local laws governing automotive sales
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to meet sales and productivity goals
- Knowledge of automotive technology is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to spend time both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Regular sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, and climb stairs
