Job Title: Fullstack Engineer – Cloud Migration
Job Type: 6-Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Location: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Pay Range: $58-70/hour W2 (depending on experience)
Note: Must be eligible to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
About the Role:
STONE Resource Group is representing a top-tier financial services company in their search for a Fullstack Engineer to join a high-impact fraud solutions team. This individual will support a large-scale cloud migration project and play a critical role in modernizing legacy systems and stabilizing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and re-platform key modules from Solaris to Linux and support private/public cloud deployment efforts.
- Code in multiple languages, including C, Java, and GoLang.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to support DevOps and CI/CD workflows.
- Migrate legacy C-based microservices to new architecture using industry best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, DevOps, and architecture teams to ensure scalable, secure, and performant applications.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a full-stack or backend software engineering role in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
- Strong programming skills in C or C and Java.
- Experience in high-transactional environments with distributed systems and scalable applications.
- Ability to operate in a Linux environment, writing clean, testable, and efficient code.
- Experience with data storage patterns, both relational and non-relational.
- Must be eligible to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with GoLang, Python, JavaScript, or other modern languages.
- Experience with re-platforming or re-architecting legacy applications.
- Familiarity with software architecture patterns (e.g., strangler, adapter).
- Comfortable working in CI/CD DevOps environments, including automation and testing frameworks.
- Performance tuning and analysis of distributed computing systems.
