Sr. Project Manager – Hybrid (Alpharetta, GA) – 11-Month Contract

STONE Resource Group is representing a leading client in the financial services space, seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for an 11-month hybrid contract opportunity in Alpharetta, GA .

MUST HAVE experience working with a Fortune 500 company.

Role Overview :

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing internal projects and programs. This role requires expertise in securing resources, utilizing formal project management methodologies, and driving initiatives to successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design, implementation, and management of highly complex strategic initiatives.

Perform Risk Management , including identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks, issues, and dependencies while facilitating escalations as needed.

Monitor and communicate initiative success measures, project status, issues, and risks to team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership.

Present solutions that drive profitability and enhance client satisfaction.

Develop and execute short- and long-term delivery strategies, identifying key assumptions, dependencies, and necessary pivots based on business goals.

Lead budget discussions , ensuring alignment with year-end financial objectives.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of project management experience, with a proven track record in managing complex programs involving extensive change management .
• Experience in a Fortune 500 company is required .
• Strong risk management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior leadership.
• Strong forecasting and resource planning expertise for complex initiatives.
