Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports and troubleshoots security software systems, such as Milestone, DMP and LenelS2. This support includes network troubleshooting and hardware repairs.
- Communicates with customers to coordinate support.
- Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices.
- Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required.
- Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
- Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards.
- Performs general maintenance of installed security and access control systems in accordance with established contracts.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- 3 years of experience installing network camera systems
- 3 years of experience installing security systems
- 3 years of experience installing access control systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with any of the following systems is preferred
- Milestone XProtect
- LenelS2 Onguard
- LenelS2 Netbox
- DMP
- IP based networks
- Windows PC’s and Windows Server operating systems
- General IT systems and processes
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 years of related work experience required
- On-the-job training may be provided.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware.
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Physically able to install system hardware and wiring.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs. at a time.
Benefits:
- Medical Insurance – monthly premium is 100% company-paid for employee and employee’s family (if applicable). There is a maximum $2,500 reimbursement per year for any deductible-related expenses in addition to the monthly premium.
