Dispatcher/Driver Manager

Stone Transport is seeking a self-motivated, team playing individual to work as a Driver Manager.

We have a very large presence in the multi-axle heavy haul industry in the MIDWEST. We also have operations in Texas, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Ohio and Canada. Requirements for Dispatcher-Driver Manager

-Must be a good communicator with a strong focus on driver retention.

· Experience in transportation logistics.

-Knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations.

· Ability to efficiently use Windows and Microsoft Office (i.e. Work, Excel, Outlook)

· Good attitude and troubleshooting abilities.

· Ability to work independently

Job Expectations

· Commitment to Stone’s safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote awareness.

· Communicate with drivers on pick-up and delivery of loads.

· Scheduling pick-up and delivery appointment times with customers and drivers.

· Communicating effectively with customers, shippers, and receivers regarding changes in pick-up/delivery and potential service failures.

· Pre-planning the use of company drivers and equipment for optimal efficiency.

· Track/trace shipments when requested.
