**Job Summary:**
Stone Warehouse USA, a leading supplier of natural and engineered stone in Florida, is seeking a full-time CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering granite, marble, and quartz slabs to various locations. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner, responsible, and committed to maintaining high-quality workmanship.
**Qualifications:**
- 2 years of verifiable driving experience with heavy-duty vehicles
- Must have a valid Class B Driver's license (CDL)
- Capable of passing a skilled test (driving test) and all DOT pre-employment requirements
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
- Ability to operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Willingness to perform warehouse duties in addition to driving
**Responsibilities:**
- Deliver granite, marble, and quartz slabs to designated locations
- Manage deliveries with multiple stops efficiently
- Maintain a legal and accurate log book
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks
- Safely handle materials and cargo
- Read Bill of Lading/Picking sheets accurately
- Secure cargo with blocks, ties, ratchet straps/chains, and binders
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Perform any additional duties as required or requested
**Hours and Benefits:**
- Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with occasional overtime
- Full-time position with benefits including dental insurance, health insurance, 401K, paid time off, and more
- Day shift, Monday to Friday work schedule with occasional work on alternate Saturdays
**Location Requirement:**
- Candidates must reliably commute to Sterling Heights, MI 48314, or plan to relocate before starting work
**Experience:**
- Warehouse experience preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of CDL experience
**Language:**
- Proficiency in English preferred
