Tutta Bella Culinary is a fast growing food manufacturing company. Our passion is making artisan food at scale. This includes our take-&-bake Neapolitan pizzas, heat-&-eat pasta entrees, grab-&-go salads, and other delicious traditional and Italian inspired offerings. Our team of Food Production Artisans make all of these items using a combination of traditional methods and modern technology. You and other customers can find our high quality offerings in QFC, Fred Meyers, Costco, and other grocery sellers. We are also in Lumen Field with custom offerings at concerts, Seahawks and Sounders games!

This position works at our Culinary Innovation Hub located in Seattle’s SODO neighborhood. Our Hub is a purpose-built 15,000 square-foot food production facility. We have employee parking available, and are walking distance from the 124 and 132 Metro bus lines, and just over a mile from the SODO light rail station. We are an English/Spanish bilingual workplace.
Wages:
- Starting wage of $20.76 per hour.
- Annual wage reviews thereafter using a wage table based on skills learned and performance quality.
Benefits:
- Access to health insurance coverage for those working an average of 30-hours per week. Coverage starts the first day of the month after 60 days of employment for those who are classified as full-time, and the first day of the month after 6 months for those who have variable hours. Eligibility requires working an average of 30 hours per week or more.

What You can Expect to Learn in Your First 90 Days:
- How to prepare ingredients including chopping and dicing vegetables, cooking pastas, making Neapolitan pizza dough, and using our custom-build pizza ovens.
- How to clean and maintain work stations and facilities according to FDA and USDA requirements.
- You will learn how to portion and prepare for all of our recipes.
- How to properly store all of our ingredients.
- How to read a daily prep list and what it takes for your team to complete it.
- How to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for food production.
- How to use commercial food production equipment including blast chillers, tilt-skillets, and dough mixers, ballers, and shapers.
- How to identify and report safety and product concerns.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
- This position works with sharp and hazardous equipment as well as work with phones, computers, and other office equipment.
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
- Frequent exposure to temperatures between 33-38 degrees Fahrenheit and above 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Daily short exposure to temperatures below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and outdoor conditions.
- This position requires work in both wet and dry conditions.
- This position primarily works between 6:00 AM and 2:30 PM, but may work longer or shorter hours depending the daily production needs.
- We are looking for artisans who can be flexible and work any days of the week.
