Stoneage Natural Rocks Inc. is an independently owned, young thriving company, specializing in manufacturing and reselling of natural stones, crystals, and spiritual goods.
We are a unique, fast paced retail store. Our clientele is from all different walks of life, and we encompass many different spiritual traditions. Our customer base is growing daily as we are attracting people who are new to the metaphysical realm.
We have very diverse staff, and our primary goal is making sure our customers feel enriched & accepted. We provide top notch customer service, therefore applicants must be capable of going above and beyond to fit in with our company culture.
We are only seeking energetic team players with a positive attitude, and bubbly personality.
In addition to that; all applicants must have great communication skills, in person sales skills, and self starting skills.
We are a very fast paced retail concept and side duties never end. Please read the “Responsibilities” and “Qualifications” bullets below carefully.
Personal or Professional experience in the metaphysical realm is highly preferred.
Position Responsibilities
· Greet and serve customers in a welcoming manner, respond to questions about products and practices.
· Be punctual, dependable, compassionate, and open minded.
· Drives sales through engagement of customers, cross selling, and sharing product knowledge.
· Ring up in-store sales, fulfill online website and customer pick-up orders.
· Receive tasks from shift leader(s), participate in cleanliness and side-duties of the store.
· Assist with inventory, including receiving, crafting, and stocking merchandise.
· Assist in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor.
· Keep up with industry trends and constantly improve product knowledge.
· Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service, product assortments, and store operations.
Job Qualifications/Skills
· Passion and knowledge of crystals, gemstones, and similar spiritual products.
· Cheerful working attitude with teamwork and people skills.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
· Ability to craft beaded bracelets, and have basic wire wrapping skills.
· Must have open availability, and ability to work a flexible schedule - including holidays.
· Must have basic POS, computer, and math skills.
· Must be able to work under pressure at a busy store.
· Willingness to accept feedback from management in a positive manner, and act on it appropriately.
· Must have a strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility.
Pay Structure
1st thru 6th month of the employment: $12/hr
After the 6th month of the employment: $13/hr
*Up to $250 commission on $1,000 receipts.
*Semi-Annual seniority raises will be given after the 8th month of employment. Qualification will depend on the sales performance, customer service capabilities, work ethic performance, along with the experience and product knowledge gained.
Stoneage is a growing company with lots of room for growth. Open higher up positions will be filled only internally.
