Stonebranch is searching for a Project Management Intern who’s interested in playing in the explosive IT automation market. The Project Manager Intern supports the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the organization. This role provides hands-on experience in project management methodologies, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The intern will work closely with project managers, teams, and clients to facilitate communication, track progress, and contribute to process improvements.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive individual with a strong interest in project management, technology, or business operations. They should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A strong foundation in time management, problem-solving, and collaboration is essential. Prior exposure to project management tools (such as Jira, Trello, or MS Project) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) is a plus. Candidates pursuing a degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field are preferred.
This is a hybrid position – 3 days/week onsite – based in our Alpharetta, GA Headquarters and will report to the North American Director of Professional Services.
Your Impact on The Organization:
- Assist Project Managers in planning, tracking, and coordinating project activities to ensure timely delivery.
- Support documentation efforts, including meeting minutes, project plans, and status reports.
- Help maintain project schedules, risk logs, and stakeholder communication records.
- Conduct research and gather data to support decision-making and project execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Utilize project management tools to track progress and report key metrics.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing project files.

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with project management concepts, methodologies, or coursework in related areas.
- Experience with business tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), project management software (JIRA, Asana, Monday.com, or similar), and collaboration tools (Teams, Slack).
