The SALES MANAGER will generate group business in the designated market segment using proactive sales activities.

Excellent communication and guest relation skills
The ability to work well with large group of people in a team environment
Must be able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations including the ability to handle guest complaints and disputes and resolve them to satisfactory results

Job Summary:
The SALES MANAGER will generate group business in the designated market segment using proactive sales activities.
Essential Functions:
- Solicit, negotiate and contract new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Minimizes revenue by selling all facets of the facility, promoting our preferred vendors, and assisting with additional revenue streams.
- Utilizes Sales Platform to track accounts, bookings, contacts, and prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.
- Negotiate and complete contracts with Clients
- Drives customer loyalty through excellent customer service throughout the sales process. Serve the customer by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate features and services.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic action plans to be able to meet/exceed predetermined goals for position and ream as a whole.
- Participate in trade shows and community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and the achievement of sales and revenue goals.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned and participate in committees as requested
