Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, clean, and organize workstations; prepare ingredients for each shift by washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, and more.
- Cook all proteins to the proper temperature, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Follow food health and safety regulations at all times.
- Contribute creative ideas for seasonal specials and new dishes.
- Efficiently handle multiple food orders simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed.
- Present dishes in an appealing and consistent manner.
- Deliver food orders to waitstaff or the expeditor promptly and accurately.
- Properly store food and sanitize workstations and utensils.
- Reorder stock and food supplies to ensure kitchen operations run smoothly.
- Assist fellow cooks and kitchen staff when needed, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
- Physical stamina to stand and move for an entire shift.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Team-oriented, with strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders.
- Previous cooking experience or relevant work experience is preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in establishments that serve alcohol.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to bend, move, and lift up to 50 pounds.
