Position Summary: The Roofing Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing roofing projects while ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality expectations. This role requires strong experience in new construction roofing and managing relationships with GCs and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to adapt to evolving project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
- Oversee all roofing aspects in new construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Work closely with general contractors (GCs) and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Manage insurance-related roofing projects, coordinating with insurance adjusters, clients, and internal teams to facilitate claims processing and proper documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and crews to execute insurance-based projects efficiently while adhering to claims requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring cost control and efficiency.
- Conduct site visits, inspect work progress, and resolve project issues as they arise.
- Ensure all roofing installations meet Mastercraft Roofing’s standards, manufacturer requirements, and safety regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance providers, GCs, subcontractors, and suppliers to support both insurance and new construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with Florida roofing codes, insurance policies, and contractual obligations.
- Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and construction teams.
- Address and resolve project challenges such as weather delays, material shortages, and labor issues.
- Utilize project management software (Procore, Microsoft Office, etc.) to track project progress, budgets, and documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing insurance-related roofing projects (experience with insurance restoration programs, claims processes, and working with adjusters).
- Minimum 3-5 years of roofing project management experience, with a strong understanding of Florida roofing codes and insurance claims.
- Background in new construction roofing, working with general contractors and managing subcontractor relationships.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to effectively manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Microsoft Office, etc.).
- Ability to transition seamlessly between insurance and new construction projects as company needs evolve.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Work Environment:
- Frequent visits to construction sites, requiring appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Some administrative tasks in an office setting, including reporting and project planning.
- Local travel to project sites and meetings with GCs, suppliers, and clients.
