Position : Business Development Specialist, Banks and Credit Unions

The company is seeking an experienced, results-oriented, proven sales executive who possesses a strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment. The experienced candidate will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of the company by identifying and building relationships with banks and credit unions of all sizes across the US and leveraging existing contacts that could benefit from a relationship with StoneCastle. The candidate will be joining a seasoned team of professionals passionate about the success of its banking and credit union clients and the communities they serve.

Responsibilities include :

  • Contact and cultivate relationships with bank / credit union Presidents and Chief Financial Officers
  • Coordinate all aspects of sales and territory management
  • Initiate and develop new bank relationships by introducing StoneCastle’s funding solutions through existing contacts, fully integrated marketing campaigns, conference speaking engagements, webinars, and in-person meetings
  • Manage the effective and rapid movement of leads and sales pipeline forecasting via Salesforce
  • Qualify prospects, assess existing clients’ needs, and expeditiously onboard new relationships
  • Partner across the organization on sales strategy, marketing / messaging opportunities, lead development, and other client facing activities

Experience Required

3-5 years of professional financial services sales experience (selling to banks / credit unions preferred). Experience in deposit funding, balance sheet liquidity strategies, and familiarity with bank ALCO strategies is favorable.

Position Location | StoneCastle is headquartered in NYC, however this position may be remote and / or hybrid.
