Job Description
This position is heavily focused on assisting with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring. Candidates must be proficient in both in order to be considered.
Job duties include, but are not limited to :
Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, anesthetic management, and completing surgical notes and charts for procedures assisted with.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications
We’re looking for :
- A certified veterinary technician, 2 year experience required
Licensed individuals with a specialty in anesthesia and analgesia or a specialty in surgery would be preferred, but neither is required
