  • Unit staffing description : Unit Secretary and scrub tech, dedicated CRNA & midwife in-house 24 / 7, OBGYN on call
  • Documentation system : CPN and Meditech
  • Patient Experience requirements : Remain above 75%

  • Must have : Drive to provide highest quality of care to our laboring patients
  • Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference
  • Advanced skills needed : Spinning babies helpful, STABLE also helpful

    • Schedule Information

  • Scheduling requirements : 4 weekend shifts / month
  • Floating policy : can float to m / b or outside department to task

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Procedures performed on unit : circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, pp hemorrhage- JADA system, nitrous oxide
  • Dress Code : Hot pink and black. May wear black on bottom but preferable hot pink on top.

  • Laborist team model with 24 / 7 midwives and dedicated CRNA and OB on call

  • 8 bed level 2 NICU with NNP dedicated to the unit 24 / 7
